The Pampered Mom's DIY Herb & Spice Kitchen Art

Tuesday, May 12, 2015

I have been waiting for the right opportunity to share my newest DIY project with you.  If you remember, months ago I shared a sneak peek of the project on our instagram account.  Don't follow - you totally should [@nattyimhoff]!

Well I had the entire project in a smaller frame and it wasn't as long as it is now.  See, I have this small weird space in my kitchen that just needed "something."  It was bare and really, I wish we would have added an extra set of cabinets when we had the change.  BUT, that didn't happen, and now I LOVE this once bare and awkward wall.

I took the original artwork I created and added spices to it to make it longer in size.  SO now it's HERBS AND SPICES, perfect for anyone's kitchen!  I made this art just on my ol' trusty [ha ha] PC and had it printed through hubs work.  Now, the same piece could be printed at any Kinkos, Staples, etc. for a minimal price since it's black and white.  Then I had it framed at my local Hobby Lobby.  The whole project only cost me $70 dollars, and I would say $65 of that is just getting it framed with the glass.  Well worth it in my opinion.  This artwork is not your "standard" size, therefore, everything, including glass is extra because it's custom. BUT, you'll never find another one like it!

I have already sold two others, and if you're interested, we'll get you hooked up to!
Just email me here : [email protected]

Here is the final piece in our new kitchen ... perfect space, perfect kitchen art!

TBS Signature Sangria Bar

Wednesday, August 8, 2012
This weekend The Bridal Solution is putting on a wedding at our clients home. We are super excited about all of the festivities that will go on during the evening.

One of my favorites is our signature sangria bar ... It's going to be fabulous! Here is some signage that will be at the bar with me while I work :)

Cheers!

Bayler's 3rd Party Labels

Tuesday, June 19, 2012
So the crab boil is sneaking up on me, and tonight I got a little too excited and did the "mock" tablescape.  Let's just say, I am very pleased :)  I actually think Bayler will love it.  Although I feel pretty prepared, the list I made for myself of "To-Do's" is starting to get pretty long.  At least I have a few days to get myself together!

Tonight I created the labels for the drink dispensers and the water bottles.

The drink dispensers will have "Ocean Water" from Sonic and Lake Water [sweet tea.]

These are the water bottle labels ...

Yay for Bayler' turning Three!!

It's Party Time again

Tuesday, June 12, 2012
It's party time again ... Bayler is almost THREE!!  I just can't believe my baby is no longer a toddler, and getting out of those stages where they need you every step of the way.

This year we are having a Crab Boil for his birthday.  Full of all the nautical fun he can handle!  Here are the invites we created ... woo whoooo!

Over the next few weeks I'll be updating with all the party highlights!

Lobster Print

Monday, March 5, 2012
Had to make my own Lobster Print this week ... I wanted to add something to one of our side tables by our bedroom lounge chair. It's absolutely stunning in a thick gold frame!

{Thanksgiving Menu 2011}

Friday, November 25, 2011
Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Ours was unique for sure, but it turned out great! More importantly ... what was one every one's menu? Monday I'll be sharing our tablescape, but for today, I'll show you our menu ... I made it totally last minute, but I think it turned out great!

Anyone else create a menu for Thanksgiving? Wish me luck, I am leaving the house at 12 AM for some holiday shopping with friends ... better yet, pray for me :)

{Bayler's 2nd Birthday: Invites}

Monday, June 27, 2011
Bayler is officially 2!! I can't believe it. I would say we are finally out of the "baby" stage, and now on to the toddler age. It's sad, but so amazing to see how much he has grown.

The party on Saturday was a complete success. It was absolutely perfect, and I wouldn't have changed a thing! This week I will debut small details leading up to the big day.

The theme for the party was "Giraffe." Bayler loves them, and I love the patterns! I created all the signage as usual, and the first one up was the invitation.

What do you think?

{Saint Patrick's Day Card}

Monday, March 14, 2011
Here is the Saint Patrick's Day card I am sending out today. The picture was taken by a local photographer named Catherine Marie Rhodes Photographer. I created the card for friends and family of course. Just something simple, but I love how it turned out. It's even better in person!

Hope everyone's having a great Monday ... we woke up this morning with 4 inches of snow and counting ... so it's a little crazy here. I welcome crazy though :)

Happy Monday!

{Valentine's Day Cards}

Friday, February 11, 2011
Happy Friday!

I finally started getting into the Valentine's Day spirit, and make a few cards for our close family & friends. I LOVE the way they turned out. Valentine's Day cards are hard when you have boys ... you want them to have a masculine feel, with out all the hearts and pink :)

I used a quote form the boys favorite book "Guess How Much I Love You." It was perfect for VDay! And, since all we have out side is snow ... I thought it would be appropriate to share one of their outings. This was Braeden giving Bayler his hand to help him out of the 18" we got :) Soo cute!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

{Love Print}

Thursday, February 10, 2011
Had a few emails about the dark grey love print in the pictures yesterday, so I wanted to give credit where credit is due ...

You can find the LOVE print here ... and it comes in a number of different colors!

Here are some close ups ...

{Imhoff Christmas Cards 2010}

Friday, December 3, 2010
I finally decided on our Christmas Cards this year. I really wanted something different, and to be honest, I had not found a single photo holiday card I liked online. I did however find some inspiration.

You may remember the photo from our family photo shoot a couple of days ago. At first I didn't think I got a "Christmas Card Photo." I was a little disappointed, but I figured I would the ol'kids in front of the Christmas Tree photo. Problem was, I still don't have a tree and time it ticking! After doing some editing, I quickly realized I did have my photo for the card, and it looked fabulous as a vintage picture. So I ran with it.

Here is the first card I created (something just didn't feel right) ...

and here is the second (too plain) ...

And finally ... here is what I decided on ... I LOVE IT. I designed it from start to finish; taking the picture, editing, creating the vintage look, adding the artwork, and finally adding those little details. I could not be happier, and I can't wait to go get them printed next week!

Possible Etsy print? I think so!
