{Braeden's 4th Birthday: Part 2}

Tuesday, November 8, 2011
I am finally getting around to sharing Braeden's 4th birthday party. I have been completely insane with the amount of work on my plate at the moment, that I had to drop the blog for a few days. That AND my computer stopped working for a bit, which had to be fixed ... thank goodness I was able to save everything, and continue where I left off.

Here are the extra shots from Braeden's party ... I still can not believe he is four years old!!

What do you all think? It was a low key night with just family, and I think it turned out exactly how I planned. The mini pizza's were SO yummy, and I have to say a big thank you to our Papa Murphy's here in town, they really hooked me up! Most importantly, Braeden had a great time, and I am so thankful I have a healthy four year old boy! Check out the rest of the party here.

Happy Birthday Braeden!!

{Braeden's 4th Birthday Party: Part 1}

Thursday, October 27, 2011
This year for Braeden's party we decided to keep it pretty low key. With only family invited, and limited party designs. It was a perfect year for it, since the past years we have gone all out. See his past birthday's here: Lil' Quarterback, Monkey Theme & 3 Ring Circus.

This year was a PIZZA PARTY! And not your average, order in pizza and drink soda party either. I ordered dough, sauce and ingredients separately from a local pizza chain. We made the pizza party into a pizza bar "build your own pizza pies."

Everyone seemed to love it, and we were all stuffed by the time the party was over. For dessert I served a cake that I made. The Toy Story figures on top were party of the cake kit from Walmart. Braeden had seen them and wanted to use them ... why not! I love homemade cakes with my special butter cream ... I swear it's better than having it made! All it all, I loved the quaint party!

Don't you love how the signage turned out? All of those ingredients were amazing, and I am so thankful it worked out! More to come tomorrow!!

{Swiffer Wet-Jet Refills a DIY}

Wednesday, October 26, 2011
Hey Yall!

Having two kids {young kids} and trying to keep a tidy/clean house is always a task. I scrub and clean the floors daily, just to try and keep up. SO, when it comes time to buy cleaning products, I want the best, but I also want the best prices. It's a toss up. I love the name brand items, but spending a ton on them is just simply not an option.

Much like making my own Frabrez now, I have found a new way to clean my floors on the cheap :) Thank you Pinterest!

I currently use the Swiffer Wet-Jet to clean my floors after I have swept. One bottle usually lasts me a week ... not much! So spending $5.00 on refills is getting pretty expensive. Now, after using my own floor cleaner, I spend about 20 cents a week! Can a get a big "Heck Ya!"

Once you are down with a wet-jet bottle, SAVE IT! Bring a pot of water to boil and rest your empty wet-jet bottle inside.

The water and steam with loosen the cap. I usually leave mine in for a minute or 2, but that's all that is really necessary.

Remove the bottle (USE HAND TOWELS, it will be VERY hot!!) and remove the cap by twisting!

Now use your own floor cleaner in the bottle by replacing the cap, and using your Swiffer Wet-Jet!

{Braeden is FOUR}

Happy Birthday to my amazing, talented, energetic, smart young man Braeden! Today he turns 4 years old! I honestly can not believe that my little man is growning up so fast. It wasn't long ago when I found out I was pregnant, unsure about my future, scared to death to have a baby ... and to see him now. He is my sunshine ... and in his words, "You have my heart!"

Happy Birthday Braeden!!
