Back to School :: Fun Instagram Sign

Tuesday, August 25, 2015
It's back to school for these boys.  I seriously can not believe that Summer is over.  We had so many plans and dreams and oh ... where did the time go!?!?  I am so thankful that I was able to stay home with them over the break and create memories.  I love these two so much, it pains me to be away from them.  My oldest is now in Second Grade and my baby in Kinder ... so grown up.  I am praying they have a wonderful year full of  learning and friends.

So I made these cute little Instagram boards in about 5 mins yall!  SO easy!  You should totally do them for photo booths or events you have coming up in the future!  Basically I just used a white board from Michaels and cut out a square in the center.  That was IT!  Then I added the fun Instagram stuff in Photoshop so I could change it out if I needed to.  And, thank goodness I did, because yesterday we found out that Breaden moved classes and has a new teacher now.  Super easy fix!

Here's to a brand new school year!

Bayler's 3rd Birthday Party

Monday, July 9, 2012
I am finally getting around to posting pictures and details from Bayler's 3rd Birthday Party which was at the end of June.  My how the time flies.  I know everyone says this, but I feel like it was just a year ago that I brought him home from the hospital.  It just makes me so sad to see him grow up, but I am so proud of all he has accomplished in the past few years.

This sweet little boy would not say a word to anyone last year.  I mean, nothing.  And today, after speach, he has developed a vocabulary that is right on for his age.  You would have no idea he was delayed at all.  Like I said ... so proud!

This year we through Bayler a Crab Boil Party.  You can check out his cute invitation from this post here.  We decided to keep it pretty low key, so we invited family and a family friend and her son to join us.  Thank goodness too because it was tight quarters there for a while before we braved the heat outdoors.  Like most of Bayler's Parties, we had the pool and sprinklers out back for the kids to cool off ... which turned out to be a hit with the little ones!

The crab boil/nautical party was made complete with a blue and white stripped bunting banner from Betty and Barclay. We also served some Ocean Water [blue kool-aid] and Lake Water [sweet tea.]  I designed the cake and had it made, the letters were spray painted red from Hobby Lobby.  The Nemo Cookies ... the kids help me make them ... which turned out SO cute!  And like every party I create, I had to make water bottle labels to match the party!

FYI: Bayler's favorite movie is Nemo, so I thought it would fit perfectly within the nautical party!

Thanks for everyone who make out and made Bayler's Birthday Party so much fun.  It was one we will not soon forget!  And the kids are already asking for us to have another crab boil!

{Braeden's 4th Birthday Party: Part 1}

Thursday, October 27, 2011
This year for Braeden's party we decided to keep it pretty low key. With only family invited, and limited party designs. It was a perfect year for it, since the past years we have gone all out. See his past birthday's here: Lil' Quarterback, Monkey Theme & 3 Ring Circus.

This year was a PIZZA PARTY! And not your average, order in pizza and drink soda party either. I ordered dough, sauce and ingredients separately from a local pizza chain. We made the pizza party into a pizza bar "build your own pizza pies."

Everyone seemed to love it, and we were all stuffed by the time the party was over. For dessert I served a cake that I made. The Toy Story figures on top were party of the cake kit from Walmart. Braeden had seen them and wanted to use them ... why not! I love homemade cakes with my special butter cream ... I swear it's better than having it made! All it all, I loved the quaint party!

Don't you love how the signage turned out? All of those ingredients were amazing, and I am so thankful it worked out! More to come tomorrow!!
