Imhoff Easter Brunch :: 2016

Friday, March 25, 2016
I think it's safe to say that we're ready for our Easter Brunch on Sunday!

So if I'm being real ... I will tell you that I hardly EVER make breakfast.  Part of it, is that I don't usually eat breakfast, so it's hard for me to get up and eat anyways.  Secondly, since going back to work, cereal has been our go-to during the week, and then on the weekends - we're usually at a game or sleeping in ... because we're EXHAUSTED!!!

If on the rare occasion we do make breakfast ... it's the hubs who provides. What can I say? I married a keeper.  He also brings me breakfast in bed on these mornings ..... oh who am I kidding - that NEVER happens!!

With that being said, Easter is a huge exception.  I kind of go - ALL OUT.  But again, it's brunch ... so technically ....

I haven't quite decided everything that we'll have on Sunday, but I know there will be Ham, a casserole, probably French Toasts because it's the kids favorite and some type of fruit.  Are you all making Breakfast/Brunch/Lunch this year?!  What are you making?!!!  Help a girl who never makes anything before noon ;)

Texas Tulips :: Spring 2016

Friday, March 18, 2016
Tuesday was such a long day, it was a draining day and really after work, I'll I wanted to do was crawl back in bed.  It's hard juggling family/work life some days and this day, was REALLY hard.  I pulled myself together and got the kids ready for the Tulip Farm like I had promised. I was so tired and drained and going and doing "one more thing" was not on the top of my list.  However, when we got there, it was such a beautiful site.  So many tulips, so many colors, and the site of being away from it all was quite stunning.  We have to drive a good 45 minutes to get there, and really, there is nothing better than driving out to the country and seeing all Gods Glory.   We went last year, you may remember, if not here is the post from 2015.

The kids were happy, everyone was having fun, choosing their favorite tuplip, and thankfully the weather cooperated.  I am so thankful for these two. The loves of my life.  Sometimes it's important to sit back and enjoy nature's beauty .. in ALL the glorious colors!

Fall Festivals :: 2015

Monday, March 7, 2016
I can't believe how far behind I am in blogging ... like REALLY behind!!!  I have had these photos sitting on my desktop, just waiting to blog about all the fun festivals we went to this Fall.  Yes ... you read that right.  We're now in SPRING, and I'm talking about the Fall. Oh my!

So a Historical Town right next to us is McKinney, Texas and they host an Oktoberfest Festival every year.  It was such a pretty day we had to check it out!  The downtown square in McKinney is the cutest.  Tons of retail shops, boutiques, home decor, restaurants, wineries, you name in.  It is really a great place to visit.  [hint, hint, wink, wink FRIENDS].  Anyways, I couldn't help but share some sweet photos of the boy and the rides!

And just before this little festival was the annual Plano Balloon Glow.  Crazy attendance, tons of food, and GREAT balloon sightings!  Nothing like a few corn dogs before the show to keep these two in good spirits!  No one wants a melt down in the middle of a field! :)
